Since its foundation, SPITZWEG has been active internationally, both for our clients in Germany as well as for foreign clients active in German-speaking economic areas. Of particular note for our work is the diversity of topics of an international cast in tax law, such as taxation of relocations abroad and repatriations, the structuring of international transfer prices and documentation thereof, and cross-border asset structuring. In commercial and corporate law too, we have for years provided companies with support on investment measures, in particular M&A transactions, reorganizations and joint ventures in international markets, or taxation of cross-border processes.
By reason of this activity, we have developed many personal relationships with foreign tax-consulting and law firms, with whom we regularly implement joint projects.
Furthermore, we are active members of the ALLIOTT Group, an international alliance of independent tax consulting, law and auditing firms.
For that reason, we practice our interdisciplinary approach on that alliance as well and, depending on the client’s needs, we can also integrate our colleagues in the respectively required specialized discipline in a foreign legal system too.
